SMT Auction Group runs online auctions of trucks, commercial vehicles and yellow goods for corporate fleets, financiers and contractors across South Africa. Every sale is in rand, with transparent terms and a clear settlement process.

Bidders register once, verify their identity (FICA) and consent to our privacy terms (POPIA), then pay a refundable per-auction deposit to bid. Lots are sold voetstoots; reserves apply and are not disclosed. The buyer's premium and 15% VAT are shown on every lot before you bid.

Our platform supports proxy bidding — set your maximum and the system bids on your behalf up to that limit — and anti-snipe extensions so a lot can't be stolen in the final seconds.
